Alternative Wellness Physicians: Be Watchful. Be (homemade beauty tips) Discriminating.
By Jim Hardy
Firstly know that I am not writing this from an “all doctors who do not abide by long established allopathic medical methods are quacks” viewpoint. Exactly the opposite. I stay away from allopathic physicians like a curse. Since I have been pursuing a nutritional answer to a physical predicament for five years now I have seen a lot of non-traditional wellness doctors and have detected a disturbing inclination. And it is not a beneficial one.
When you come into an alternative wellness doctor’s office you set foot in their creation. They have their own way of achieving things. In the preliminary exam the physician informs you that for him to diagnose your crisis appropriately you need tests. The non-traditional wellness physician will order up a gigantic collection of tests, which you disburse money for and he gains income from, so that he can construct his evaluation. The predicament is that you do not know exactly how applicable all these tests are. Urine tests, blood tests, scans, etc., can easily run over a thousand dollars. Be careful. Be selective.
Since I have been through this before I now request the charges of all these tests and then question the wellness doctor to counsel the most important tests he requires for half the full fees. If doctor says he wants them all, I am gone. I decide, if the doctor is unable to act within my financial plan, he is in all probability going to screw me all through the process.
You have gone into their own private universe where they decide completely. They dictate the patients and they decide the personnel. There are hardly ever any other physicians around to corroborate their power. They have their own procedures, they KNOW they are precise, and they can with no trouble overawe you with their medical school wisdom. However, it IS your body. Do not just let them run over you.
After the diagnosis of your circumstance treatment usually involves nutritional supplements. Many doctors have their own brands to make best use of profit margins. I cannot blame a wellness physician for attempting to acquire a buck on nutritional supplements, but countless alternative doctors will think nothing of bundling you up with 10-20 pills per day! That is absolutely EXTREME! They know that excessive nutrients will only pass right through their clients and produce no injury. But really, do you have to prescribe the whole kitchen sink?! It is costly and exceedingly tiring to gulp down all those capsules day after day. And of course they will insist that their vitamins are the unsurpassed, contain only the top of the line pharmaceutical grade ingredients, and that is the reason they are priced so high. Just be careful. Be selective.
As with medical tests, I inquire of the wellness practitioner what are the six most imperative nutrients he is recommending and I purchase those when I exit the office. Then I go back home and investigate all the nutritional products I did not buy to discover if they truly relate to my problem or whether the alternative wellness physician is just dosing me with a blanket collection of nutrients. Prepared with that data I then buy extra nutritional supplements or not. It is way too easy, upon departing the alternative doctor’s place of work, to just say “OK” and take everything that they chuck at you. Do not accept that!
To conclude, alternative medical practitioners can heal you. You just have to interweave your way through the network they have generated to improve their own financial standing. Some demonstrate larger avariciousness than others and all deserve to earn a hefty income. Just be careful. Be selective.

Understanding All Your Diet Options
By Paul Strachocki
Almost everyone has been on a diet at some point in their life. There are so many different diet types, though, that choosing one that works for you is not an easy task. These diet types have been categorized by the National Institutes of Health so you can better understand them. Choosing the right diet type is key to losing weight and meeting your goals.
One of the diet types is a fixed menu diet that specifies what you should eat. This is one of the easiest diets for people to use because there is no shopping for food and making food choices. The problem is people who go on this diet do not get the skills they need to make good food choices after they are off the diet. The food on a fixed menu diet may also not be very tasty. When you are not at home, it is hard to stick to a fixed menu diet plan. The fixed menu diet plan is not one of the diet types that is really recommended if you want to lose weight and keep it off.
An exchange diet allows you to make food choices from a variety of food groups. You can choose foods that are starches, for example, including rice, pasta or potatoes. This diet allows you to eat a lot of different types of foods and is easy to follow because the rules are simple. When you use an exchange diet you are teaching yourself how to eat healthy for the long run.
A pre-packaged meal diet requires you to purchase foods in portions that are predetermined. That means you can select the type and amount of food as long as you do so within the guidelines. This diet type can be costly and again you are not really learning how to choose healthy foods so you may end up gaining any weight you lose back.
A formula diet requires you to drink a liquid for all your meals of the day. These diet types provide liquid formulas that have a lot of protein and carbohydrates but are very low in fat. This is not a very expensive diet type and it is easy to take the formula with you wherever you go. This type of diet can help you lose weight but you cannot stay on it forever so you may gain the weight back over time.
Experts say that the types of diet you should avoid are those that require you to eat certain foods together. These diet types help keep your calories low but you do not get enough nutrition in most cases. They are not good long-term solutions.
A flexible diet is one that allows people to make choices about what they eat and how much they eat. You can go on a flexible diet that focuses on controlling fat, calories or both. When you use a flexible diet you are likely to eat less fat and calories but you may increase the amount of sugar you eat to an unhealthy level.
There is some evidence that the diet types that focus on reducing fat intake and increasing carbohydrate intake can work. These diet types are thought to be successful even without worrying about calories or exercising. However, other research, including one done by Gary Foster of the University of Pennsylvania says that this is not true. He believes that eating too many carbohydrates daily and not reducing your calorie intake is actually going to cause you to gain weight in the long run. The original study maintains his theory that the body processes fats and carbohydrates differently so it is not necessary to watch one’s calorie intake. The American Dietetic Association believes that weight loss can be accomplished by using many of the different diet types available.
Since there are so many diet types out there and no one really understands which work and don’t work, you should talk to your doctor about using a nutritionist to help you come up with a diet plan that will work for you. That way you know you are getting good advice and you can develop a diet plan based on your body type and your needs.
The most successful types of diet are those that include both diet and exercise. When you include both of these, you know your body is able to get the most out of your food. You will see your muscles increase and become stronger as you lose weight. If you are not sure which of the many diet types is right for you, call your physician and talk to him.

Is health Issurance a waste?
By Alston J Balkcom
Some feel that medical Assurance is too expensive to consider. Some might believe that their health bills will continually be low or reasonable. They may feel that their automobile Insurance can pay for them or that they can get treatment even when they don’t own Issurance.
Your healthcare history is a good predictor of whether or not you might have health problems in the near future. If you’ve always been healthy, you’ve got a better chance of not needing medical care in the next year when compared to an individual who has a history of being ill all the time.
However, many who have diabetes, high blood pressure or even heart attacks had unblemished health histories for decades. Then they got ill and maybe stayed sick or even died.
Your good healthcare history isn’t a very good predictor of future injury. One can fall over a child’s toy and fall down a flight of stairs or have an accident when exercising.
Will Your Automobile Coverage Plan Pay Your medical expenses?
Your car Insurance plan offers limited Cover for your medical bills. Your auto Coverage policy may pay for the health expenses of those you might injure in a car crash. However, since you can’t hold yourself legally liable for your own medical expenses, this Issurance is often inadequate when it comes to your medical care costs. Even car insurance policies with “no fault” Cover typically limit this Cover to a few thousand dollars per accident.
Can Your Employer’s Insurance Cover You?
when you are hurt on the job, there is a good chance that your employer’s workmen’s compensation or liability Insurance will pay your health bills. But it is the rare disease or sicknesses that will be covered by an job’s liability policy.
Of course if your employer provides health Cover for you, many more situations are likely to be covered.
Will A Hospital Treat You Even if You posess No Cover?
In many scenarios you can be treated from a hospital whether or not you have health Assurance. There are large drawbacks. One is the limitation on the medical care and another is the potential destruction of your credit.
Most hospitals will treat uninsured patients who walk through their doors in the aftermath of heart attack. Most hospitals will treat those who are in need of immediate healthcare care in emergency situations. However, once the crisis is over, they are likely to stop treatment unless you can pay for it.
If a hospital does treat you when you don’t posess health Insurance the care given isn’t likely to be free. They will expect to be paidand when you can’t pay the bill, the event and its cost might hang over your head like a dark cloud for years and years.
Can The Government Pay Your health care costs?
In some cases Social Security or Medicaid will cover your medical care costs. However few people qualify. Only specific diseases and disorders qualify for payments from Social Security. Medicaid only covers those who have very low assets and income.
A car Insurance policy or some other liability policy or the government might cover your health expenses in some scenarios. However, only a good healthcare insurance policy will give you the security of knowing that a big sickness or auto accident won’t destroy your credit and financial future.
